Thank you for stopping by and checking out the muffinfunk productions website. Please take a seat and fasten your seatbelt!     Muffinfunk is the brainchild of a slightly quirky, thirty something musician, writer and producer named Simon Gregg; You can call him SiGGy.

Never to follow the path of mortal men, SiGGy got switched on to playing and writing in his mid teens. Starting out on Guitar, soon to becoming accomplished on Bass, Drums and Keys as well. (Does Saxophone beckon next?!). He was very quickly consumed by the beast they call music technology. Hungry for production knowledge and relentless in his quest to find out how the big guns did it. Playing in many local bands/projects he was soon cutting his teeth recording, producing whilst acquiring his skills and passion that he is now able to apply to muffinfunk.

The muffinfunk name derives itself from SiGGy's own musical façade and adventure “The Interstellar Love Muffin”. A tongue in cheek funk/rock outfit. In fact the only inter galactic band from Devon ! (Be sure to check out some of their tunes elsewhere on this site.)

So what's special about Muffinfunk Productions? Well unlike a great deal of other small musical/video endeavours, the client really matters. So many ‘so called producers' are quick enough to take your hard earned cash and take you through ‘their' routine, only to give you a merely ‘satisfactory' result. In particular those who are just starting out on their musical ladders are easy pray. Simply put, in today's climate of computer based recordings, there is NO excuse whatsoever to present artists/bands with mediocre productions. If a producer has a good ear, a good set of musical/technological skills and true passion in what he/she is doing there really isn't much that cannot be achieved. When you combine this with the whole vista that a visual element can bring, things get very exciting indeed.

Muffinfunk is dedicated to passing on the years of learning and experience to whoever walks through the door. Education is a priority, as is motivating artists to making the very best of their potential. Always honest, always driving forward.
